The Royal Tenenbaums

Released in 2001, The Royal Tenenbaums is the third feature film made by Wes Anderson. The film is in a sense a family drama, and stars a large ensemble cast including Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Danny Glover, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bill Murray, Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson.
In this short documentary Matt Zoller Seitz walks us through a couple of scenes from the film. We get to know some of the inspirations for the film as well as the movies, books and music that The Royal Tenenbaums pays tribute to.
